Digital Frontiers’ South Asia Regional Digital Initiative (SARDI) is seeking applications from organizations to provide cybersecurity capacity building to small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Sri Lanka.

SARDI aims to increase the digital capacity of the private sector and civil society through digital upskilling and by strengthening firms’ ability to engage in digital and ICT policy issues. SARDI implements activities focused on digital upskilling, policy awareness, and cyber capacity-building with entrepreneurs and small firms across South Asia.

This activity will inform target SMEs in two cohorts of the risks and benefits of safely engaging in digital business and online platforms and provide tools and resources for those seeking to safely digitize. SMEs will be empowered to take steps to grow their business digitally while protecting their assets from cyber attacks and avoiding being led astray by dis- and misinformation.

Who Should Apply?

  • Applicant team should include a significant presence in Sri Lanka
  • Must have experience with digital development
  • Must have a track record of delivering capacity building to SMEs
  • Demonstrated results in training program design and implementation
  • Prior experience with cybersecurity training would be an advantage
  • Well-networked with SME-related associations and chambers
  • Ability to develop curriculum in local languages as needed
  • Experience with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is preferred
